My husband and I recently moved to the area and stumbled upon Zig’s Zen Salon, and what a gem! My appointment was with the owner, Ziggy, and his assistant, Michaela, and they were phenomenal. Ziggy nailed the perfect color and technique for my hair and took the time to show me how to style and maintain it. Their teamwork was seamless, like watching a well-oiled machine in action. I’m thrilled with both the color and the cut!
As someone new to the area, I also appreciated Ziggy’s thoughtful local tips, from great food spots to helpful VA resources. That kind of personal touch really made the experience stand out.
From the moment I walked in, I felt genuinely welcomed. The ambiance is warm and inviting, thanks to Ziggy’s wife’s beautiful design work. There’s even a stylish barber section tucked in the back and a bar that adds a fun, modern vibe. Everyone I met was friendly, helpful, and clearly passionate about what they do. You can feel the energy of Ziggy’s motto on the wall: “My life, my passion.”
